Born and raised in Nice in the 90’s, BARNABE gets his inspiration from pop culture and his childhood to give life to his characters.
Starting in Nice, he began displaying his ghosts on the urban walls, quickly spreading to other cities in the world. His style is simple, his line is clear, like a logotype, but his work cannot be so simply reduced.
The artist displays his BARNABE cartoons like shapes in different disguise, BARNABE’s identity is strong but withstands variations.
His simplicity gives him a symbolic dimentions.
The goal is to create an energy, a visual identity through his characters, as well as spontaneity and joy of life.
