Xare was born in Paris in 1980 and raised in Montmartre. He began his artistic journey at 14 years old, inspired by both the works characterizing his neighborhood and the New York graffiti movement.
For Xare, graffiti just clicked. He was inhabited by the same obsession like the masters before him in New York City: the subway. After painting on several subway cars in Paris, with his crew TPK (The Parisian Kingz, one of the most notorious graffiti crews in the world), he continued his career abroad mainly in Milan, Barcelona and Amsterdam.
Over the years, he continued evolving his personal style by expanding into all types of media, ranging from canvas to wall supports and simple wooden boards to original enameled plates from subways. He uses different techniques such as painting, spray painting, collage, and stencil, reflecting his personality through the wide range of colors in his pieces. His originality resides in the mix between abstract contemporary art and graffiti rules.
Xare has shown his works in many famous exhibitions like Urban Art Fair, or 8th Avenue during the FIAC in Paris.
